With a premise simple for anyone to comprehend: the year is 1999 and the moon has been blown out of Earth's orbit with all these people trapped on a moon base, Space: 1999 created a generation of devoted fans and is still considered a Gerry Anderson masterpiece. So join us as we look at the collectables which came from this classic series.

Yes it's the Gerry Anderson episode you've all been waiting for! Previously we've celebrated and rejoiced his legendary supermarionation work, but now it's time to move into the big league in the form of 'live action'. Now regardless of whether purple wigs or flared cream trousers are your style, there's no denying UFO and Space: 1999 have earned their rightful place in the Sci-Fi hall of fame!

As discussed in the previous episode, Aron has been going through the deceased estate of someone who had collected numerous items since the 1970's. Now a week later, Aron provides an update on the trash and the treasure he has uncovered in this rather unique and fascinating journey.

It's a curse many collectors experience "where do I find space to display my collection". For some the storage shed or the garage is the solution, but what of those who continue to buy even when the house they live in physically can't hold anymore! So join us as we look at some classic merchandise which one day may actually be worth six million bucks!

Celebration 2022 occurred at the end of May (just a couple of days ago), so it's up to Rip It Off The Card to sift through all that Forceful goodness to see how it will impact not only the Galaxy Far, Far Away, but us mere mortals too.
